We'll kick off the trip with 12 hours of Dental CE in the ancient city of Rome, then we'll head south to the Amalfi Coast. Infectious Diseases Still Plague Us!

This seminar will focus on Hepatitis and Tuberculosis, infectious diseases important to today’s health care providers.  The information is an easy to understand review, focusing on significant and interesting features and history of the diseases, told in an entertaining fashion. Speaker: Dr. Steve Filler

Dr. Steve Filler DDS, MS, MA is a fellow and former president of the American Association of Hospital Dentists and also served as associate dean and professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry.

Steve has lectured extensively on the topics of Medical Emergencies and Infectious Diseases and is a highly sought-after CE conference speaker with a reputation for making his topics practical, fun, and informative!

Educational Objectives

By the end of the week, presentation participants should be able to:

1. Describe basic techniques for preventing medical emergencies

2. Discuss appropriate roles for staff members during a medical emergency

3. Discuss general procedures required for common medical emergencies

4. Prepare a list of emergency medicines and equipment

5. Review and/or prepare a dental office for treating medical emergencies

6. Review discussed infectious diseases for etiology, prevention and treatment.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

​​All cancellations must be received in writing. If cancellation is made 90 days or more before the seminar date, a full refund will be made. If cancellation is made 60-89 days before the seminar date, you will be able to receive a 50% refund. No refunds can be made for cancellations made 59 days or less from the seminar No refunds will be made for a cancellation made during the seminar. I recommend booking travel insurance for your trip, because at this time Go Italianissimo is not able to make exceptions for weather or personal emergencies. Go Italianissimo reserves the right to cancel a small group trip or seminar. This is very unlikely, but in this situation, you would receive a complete refund of your trip fees and seminar including your deposit. Go Italianissimo will not assume any other liability and is not responsible for any personal expenses as a result of a tour cancellation or seminar, such as airline tickets or personal hotel reservations.
