Initial Deposit & Payment Policy
A deposit of $1000 (or more) per person is required to reserve your spot on the trip. Remaining amount is due 6 months before the trip start date:
≥ 9 Months Before Trip
Initial Deposit: $1,000
1 Month After Deposit: 50% of package price + 50% of add-ons (if applicable)
6 Months Before Trip: Remaining package balance + remaining 50% of add-ons
7–8 Months Before Trip
Initial Deposit: $1,000 + 50% of package price + 50% of add-ons (if applicable)
6 Months Before Trip: Remaining package balance + remaining 50% of add-ons
≤ 6 Months Before Trip
At Booking: 100% of package price + 50% of add-ons (if applicable)
1 Month After Deposit: Remaining 50% of add-ons
How to Pay
Payment can be made via Credit Card, PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, or check. If you prefer to pay with credit card (via PayPal), a 3.49% tax will be added. Deposit will go towards the total price of the trip.
Trip Contract and Participation Agreement
Once we have both Initial Deposit and Initial Deposit Contract, we’ll start fine-tuning your package and exploring any add-ons you’re interested in! Then, you’ll receive your Trip Contract and Participation Agreement, along with all the key details for your trip.
This two-step process keeps everything simple, clear, and stress-free as we get ready for your Italian adventure.
Initial Deposit Cancellation Policy
If you can’t attend your scheduled trip, you may apply your Initial Deposit to a future trip within 18 months of your original departure date. You may also request to transfer your Initial Deposit credit to another person by submitting a written request at least 180 days before your original departure date. All transfers are subject to our approval.
Package Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in writing by the individual who booked the trip.
If cancellation is received 120 days or more before the trip start date, a refund will be issued minus the non-refundable $1000 deposit.
If cancellation is received 60–119 days before the start date, a 50% refund will be issued.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 59 days or fewer before the trip start date or at any time during the trip.
No refunds will be provided for any unused portion of the trip.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, as Go Italianissimo is unable to make exceptions for weather, illness, or personal emergencies.
Postponement Policy
If your trip is paid in full, you may request to postpone it by providing written notice at least 120 days before your original departure date. All postponements are subject to approval and availability.
Approved trips must be rescheduled to a new date within 18 months of your original departure date. A $250 non-refundable administrative fee applies, and any difference in cost due to seasonal rates, itinerary changes, or vendor adjustments will be your responsibility.
If you do not request a postponement on time, have not paid in full, or do not reschedule within 18 months, our standard cancellation policy will apply.
