About Italianissimo
Italy captured my heart early in life. In my twenties, I launched Italian Dream Trip, a boutique travel company dedicated to helping others experience the magic of Italy. As the vision grew, I expanded and rebranded it as Italianissimo, focusing on curated travel experiences and unique programs that blend Dental Continuing Education with unforgettable journeys. The inspiration for Italianissimo began long before I ever lived in Florence. My father, Dr. Steve Edney, spent his career as an orthodontist in Hendersonville, NC while traveling the world for Dental CE courses. Growing up, many of our family vacations revolved around these trips. They weren’t just vacations—they were adventures. Learning, travel, culture, and family connection woven together. Those early memories planted the seed for Italianissimo: a way to give others that same perfect blend of growth, culture, and connection. Today, Italianissimo helps both dental professionals and everyday travelers discover Italy with ease, style, and insider knowledge. It’s more than planning a trip—it’s creating a journey you’ll carry forever.

Travel has always been at the heart of my life, thanks to my father, Dr. Steve Edney, founder of Edney Orthodontics in North Carolina. With over 30 years of experience as a practicing orthodontist, he’s been a shining example of professionalism and how to balance work with meaningful leisure.
Growing up, our family vacations often revolved around his Dental Continuing Education courses. These weren’t just trips; they were opportunities to combine learning with incredible destinations. I’ll never forget the excitement of discovering new places, the camaraderie he shared with colleagues, and the way our family bonded over these experiences.
Those early memories inspired me to create Go Italianissimo—a way to offer dental professionals (and all travelers) the same blend of professional growth, cultural immersion, and personal connection. It’s more than a trip; it’s a journey that reflects the values my father instilled in me and the tradition of enriching lives through travel.
