Tuscany
Florence - Siena - Montalcino
Florence and Siena are the most well-known cities in Tuscany, but we'll also take you to the small medieval hilltop town of Montalcino in Southern Tuscany for incredible views of the Tuscany countryside and wonderful wine tasting!
Day 1
Arrive in the ancient city of Rome. Check into your hotel. We'll go to beautiful rooftop lounge to watch sunset with a glass of wine, then we'll have a welcome dinner together at a local Roman restaurant in the heart of the city.
Day 2
After breakfast, we'll take a private guided tour of Vatican and the iconic Sistine Chapel with our local guide who brings the history and art to life! You'll have free time for lunch. We'll do 4hrs of Dental CE (from 2:30pm-6:30pm). You'll have the evening free to have dinner and explore beautiful Rome!
Day 3
After breakfast, we'll take a private guided tour of the Colosseum and Roman Forum with our local guide to soak in the history and beauty of ancient Rome. You'll have free time for lunch before we have our second session of Dental CE 4hrs (from 2:30pm-6:30pm). After we wrap up CE for the day, we'll enjoy dinner together at a charming local restaurant.
Day 4
We'll check out of our Rome hotel, and take a private transfer via Mercedes minivan towards Tuscany. We'll enjoy a wine tasting of Italian wines like Vino Nobile di Montalcino and Brunello di Montalcino in the hilltop town of Montalcino. You'll have lunch and time to walk around Montalcino, then we'll continue to Florence and check into our hotel. You'll have the evening free to explore Florence and have dinner.
Day 5
After breakfast, we'll see incredible art by Renaissance masters like Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Giotto on our private guided tour of the Uffizi Gallery with a local guide. You'll have the afternoon and evening free to explore beautiful Florence!
Day 6
We'll go to an Italian villa just outside of Florence where we'll learn how to make authentic Italian food (hands on) while drinking some delicious Italian wine! Afterwards, we'll enjoy our Italian lunch with wine. You'll have the afternoon and evening free to enjoy Florence.
Day 7
We'll take a day trip to the idyllic city of Siena with our private transfer. You'll have free time to visit Piazza del Campo -- one of Europe's greatest medieval squares, the Duomo--the main church in Siena, and time to walk the cobblestone streets and take in the views of Tuscany that make Siena so iconic! In the late afternoon, we'll transfer back to Florence. You'll have dinner at leisure.
Day 8
We'll check out of our hotel, and take our private transfer back to Rome. Once we check into our Rome hotel, you'll have free time to enjoy more of the eternal city. We'll have our last Italian dinner together at a lovely local restaurant.
Day 9
We'll say our goodbyes and fly home!
