Top 4 Places to Eat Gelato Rome

When you're traveling in Italy, one of the most important pit stops is gelato. It's highly recommended, if not an absolute MUST at least once a day while in Italy!

Rome is home to several of my favorite gelaterias. Here's 4 you don't want to miss:

1) Della Palma

Just 2 snake-like blocks from the historic/well-worn Pantheon, this magical gelateria is delightful and might give you anxiety just trying to choose because there are so many favors! (How many flavors?) It's by far my favorite for choices. Enjoy your delicious flavors while taking in the Pantheon!

Via della Maddalena, 19-23 ; Near the Pantheon

2) Giolitti

This is most famous gelateria in Rome, although I wouldn't say it's the best gelato I've ever had. If you decide to take your gelato for a walk, prices are reasonable or you can pay a bit more and enjoy the Old Word seating.

Via Uffici del Vicario 40 (just off Piazza Colonna & Piazza Monte Citorio); Near the Patheon

3) Come il Latte

A new gelateria in town, Come il Latte ("Like Milk") offer very rich and creamy gelato. A new favorite, it's just a 5-minute walk from Piazza della Repubblica.

Via Silvio Spaventa 24/26 ; Near Piazza Della Repubblica

4) Gelateria alla Checco er Carettiere

Over in Trastevere, this gelateria is right across from the delicious Ristorante Checco er Carettiere. Not only is it super convenient, but it's many locals favorite gelateria in Trastevere.

Via Benedetta 7; Trastevere
